Objectives

 

1. To prepare an educated person of the graduate  level , a responsible citizen and a competent nurse.

2. To develop sound theoretical base to practice nursing skills.

3. To demonstrate skills needed in the practice of areas of nursing.

4. To integrate principles of behavior, social, physical and biological sciences in meeting health needs.

5. To assist the patients and their families in identifying their social, mental and physical health needs.

6. To assume greater responsibilities  and leadership in various health care setting with application of modern  technology and information.

7. To be able to collaborate with patients, their families, health team members and other health related organizations and contribute meaningfully for the welfare of the community.

8. To be aware of moral and ethical values and to practices them in her personal and professional life

9. To be capable of seeking opportunities for continual growth as an educated person, responsible citizen and a professional nurse.
